Can traventine tiles be fixed directly onto aquaboard, or does the board need to be skimmed with plaster before the tiles are fixed? regards David

Traventine tiles can be fixed directly to GTEC Aqua Board with waterproof tile adhesive. Provided the tile weight does not exceed 32kg/m2.  This would be 11mm of Granit or 13mm of Marble approx

GTEC Aqua board has a BBA certificate for insulated render systems.  It can be used as the carrier board for the insulation and the insulation has the render system applied to it.
