can i use the board on an out side wall and apply render ?

GTEC Aqua Board can be used as the exterior lining & only rendered if an Insulated render system is used.  We do not advise direct render at this point in time.

can the board be fixed directly onto brickwork

We do not recommend direct bond application.  fixing to battens or dryliner channels is the preffered option.

can you put cerimic tile on aqua board

Yes you can tile directly onto GTEC Aqua Board with waterproof tile adhesives.

can you plaster on aqua panel

We dont recommend you plaster aqua board as the surface is water resistant and the plaster finish is not.  We recommend the board is taped and jointed and sealed before decoration.

can i use it in walls + floor of a wet room ?

GTEC Aqua Board can be used on walls and ceilings, but is not recommended for floors.

can i use it in walls of a wet room ?

Yes. GTEC Aqua Board has been specifically designed for use in such areas.  The board can be tiled or paint finished.

what does it cost

The price can vary depending on the size of the board and the stockist. The small 850mm wide board can range from between £10 and £12 a sheet. GTEC Aqua Board is available from a number of regional and national merchants / distributors and a list can be found on this web site. 

What’s the thickness of aqua board

GTEC Aqua Board is 12.5mm thick and is available in 1200 x 2400, 1200x2700 & 1200x850

does auqa board act as a vapour barrier

No - you would need to use a seperate vapour barrier our we can bond one to the board for you.

Can aquaboard be dot and dabbed onto a brick or block wall?

We do not recommend that Aqua Board is Direct boned to walls, we would suggest the dryliner system and mechanical fix.
